Biografia Affetto da albinismo, che in Giamaica è considerato una malattia
tra le più discriminate, è riuscito a diventare uno dei maggiori artisti
del paese tropicale e ad imporsi sulla scena della musica internazionale.
È considerato uno dei precursori del genere Ragga, variazione del reggae
che prevede un canto molto veloce e percussivo ed anticipatore del rap
statunitense. Yellowman è soprattutto il primo ad aver imposto questo tipo
di musica fuori dall'isola caraibica, con canzoni come "Zungzunguzeng" e
"Abortion".
Yellowman non ha avuto una sorte favorevole ed ha dovuto superare gravi
difficoltà di salute, vincendo anche un cancro e un ictus.
