Gli Yeah Yeah Yeahs (a volte abbreviati in YYYs che è l' abbreviazione di yes) sono un gruppo indie rock di New York. La band è un trio formato dalla carismatica leader Karen O, dal chitarrista Nick Zinner e dal batterista Brian Chase. Biografia Il gruppo nasce a Williamsburgh, Brooklyn nel 2000 e già nel 2001, presso i Tell's Funhouse Studios a Manhattan, gli Yeah Yeah Yeahs registrano il loro EP d'esordio, che porta il loro nome Yeah Yeah Yeahs. L'EP è composto da 5 tracce, in cui è contenuta la famosa Bang! ("as a fuck son, you sucked" che significa "come fottuto figlio, fai schifo..."). Gli Yeah Yeah Yeahs debuttano in concerto come band di supporto dei White Stripes, iniziando a farsi conoscere, e continuano con vari show a New York. Verso la fine del 2001 registrano un nuovo EP intitolato Machine. Inizia così il loro tuor europeo, con il loro primo vero concerto di debutto
